Especially for medical and dental application. Any other material used into human body must consider the potential health risks in it possibly. First, the metal must not be toxic and have good strength to weight ratios and high corrosion resistance. However, titanium fits all these features and it is the most biocopatible of all metals. That’s why it’s the most common metal used in medical and dental applications.
